Hey guys, I've been trying to change the passenger side axle on a 98 automatic celica. I was able to get the axle out but I can't remove the carrier bearing casing from the old axle. Has anyone done this that can possibly help me? It's hard to explain, I can upload some pictures if needed. Thanks guys

Yea you didnt know that was the solution ? Many times when working on 6GCelicas, you have to walk away eat lunch dinner, play a game, read a book, or simply come back at a much latter time and WAAAALAAA its easier. I think its becuase the car knows your getting so fusrated and you might actually sell her to someone that wouldnt even bother to fix her up a little so she stops playing games) At least thats been my experience... LOL

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

Lol I first got my celica for $300 with a blown headgasket. Changed the headgasket and it wouldnt get any spark. I tried and checked every piece on that car to no avail. Out of frustration I let it sit a year and then in a eureka moment I realized I left the ground wire to the intake manifold from the ecu loose.

hahaha this is so true. My driverside axle was such a pain to put it back in it took me getting angry and hitting the pry bar with a hammer at full force to make my car realize, "oh s**t he's serious". Sometimes though it makes me feel like an idiot when something that was so hard to me at first becomes soooo simple later

By the way, one more question, I'm changing the transmission fluid on my 98 automatic celica. Can someone show me a picture of where the filler plug is located? I'm looking at the back of the tranny and I dunno which bolt it is
