hi, my st is giving me problems. it acts like something is drainng the battery. I just rebuilt the starter with new contacts, so i dont think its that. sometimes it will go a day or two and be fine, then i will get ready to go somewhere and the battery will be very weak. i had a keyless entry installed right when all this started happening.... do you guys think that maybe its a wiring issue from the guy installing the keyless entry? thanks!

How old is your battery? Have you actually charged it out of the car or with a charger?

think i got my battery in 2010 sometime... took my car by autozone and they tested the battery... said i got a 430 out of a possible 500? i just wanna know if it can be something the keyless installer messed up. or something when he installed it.

Didn't they do a drain test too? Most stores have something they can check for a drain with. What I would do first is to have the battery fully charged. Charging it from the alternator never restores a full charge. Also it could have been drained by the shop when they put it in. Maybe someone left a door open or something.

I know Advance Auto Parts has a tester that can test for a drain, I'd specifically ask for it to be done.
