When said about modification I didn't mean the ones made by man. What I said was that it might have modified after being affected by a certain force. |

Hi, As above am having some trouble replacing my park light bulbs. Has someone got an easy way of doing this as I can't seem to get my hand in from behind with any grip or leverage on the plug grr ![]() Cheers If you are meaning from inside the car (and rear), they are not plugs... Each of those metal poles has a little 10mm nut on them. You have to undo each of those (my third nut was 5mm not 10). Once they are done, the whole taillight assemble comes out of the car and the plugs are accessible. From there it's as simple as twist, replace bulb and re-twist in. Toyota have made it so that each socket can only hold it's respective bulb socket, making life very simple when removing the whole harness. This photo shows both the 3 metal 'poles' and the sockets. As you can also see, some of the nuts are on the poles: ![]() If you are meaning the front park lights, then all you have to do is twist the socket and it comes out... You don't have to remove anything... The front park bulbs are a T10 bulb. I tried using an LED in them, but the hear from the headlight melted the LED so this was a severe fire hazard. If you want the white look, go with the blue tinted T10 bulbs not LEDs keep changing angle. I also stopped after getting frustrated/hurt my hand, and waiting a while... Just be patient and keep trying and you will eventually find the right angle... Im guessing you're talking about he turn signal lights right? If you are then. Mine has stripped screws so they're forever on there unless i drill them out. So i have no way to replace my lights because i can't get to it. At least that's what i thought. How i got around this was. Took off my fog lights. Reached under from where the fog lights are and grab the connector. Twist it and the socket will unlock and pop right out just like any other light sockets. I have a facelifted bumper too btw.
And if you're taking about the accent lights......im cluesless. Lol. -------------------- |
