Hi there all fellow celica owners (or pre-owners) smile.gif

I have encountered a annoying problem with my lights on my toyota celica. The headlights and the fog lights suddently gave up on me, this is a Norwegian car, so the park lights go on when i turn on the ignion.
But when I flick the switch for the normal lights, the headlights will not come on, howere, I can still use the "high beam" lights. The fog lights don`t respond either if I try to switch them on.

I don`t think the fuses are bursted. I tried to swap them. When I turn the switch I can here that the relay flicks in the engine room.
Have someone encountered the same problem before? Is there any electrial drawings/schemes online (edit: found the electrical drawings)?

This is a Celica 1.8 T20 1998 modell.

best regards

Recently had a similar issue on my Murano. The relay was clicking but it was still broken. Try swapping your low beam and high beam relays to see what happens.

Well, I tried to swap the relay for the high beam and low beam headlights. That didn`t work. So I tried to swap the fuses also, that didn`t work either.
The strange thing is, when I took out the relay for the low beam headlights and turned on the high beam. The fog lights came on, it wasn`t very strong, it was simiular to a 5W light booble.
