I've had my Celica about a year and think it about time I started to make it look a bit different...

I have changed a few things like the Dash has been sprayed white and got and installed a new headunit lastweek.

The Alloys have been changed to some black team dynamics but other than that it's quite standard.

Looking for some inspiration on what to do next..

Here are some pics that I've taken of my Celica

Nice Car smile.gif I like the custom phone holder / charger on the dash is it?

As for ideas, the best value upgrades would be JDM rear lights, clear side indicators and clear front indicators. Then common next steps would be some coilovers / lowering springs, side skirts, rear spats, possibly colour code your GT front splitters, projectors headlights, LED interior swaps etc. etc.

The most recent member to do a lot of that on a white pre-face would be Rentaspace smile.gif

Thanks for your comments..

I'm looking at doing the Clear indicators next (Not a big mod i know but needs to be done.)

I want to get the SSIII Front splitters but not decided on the side skirts and rear splitter as yet..

The Phone holder is for my HTC One and work really well as the Head unit is bluetooth and the HTC has a car mode when you plug it in. Need to tidy this area a bit as got the open gap but this will be done soon.

I will have a look at Rentaspace progress for some more inspiration. Just loving looking at all these project and getting idea's for mine.

Some small mods to keep me going...

I changed the Key ring light from green to blue..

And I also change the courtesy light len's to clear, put in a blue LED in and then hooked up an LED light strip to the button of the door and wired in to the same circuit.. Works pretty well I think.

Looking sweet mate, First things I'd be doing is clear side repeaters, I'd remove the GT badge myself although perhaps leave the Celica badge there) If you wanted to remove that then do the badges a different colour? I did black on mine and thought it looked ok, Maybe a different gearknob?

A set of side skirts from the later model would set that off a treat too. The final thing I'd do would be to get a spoilerless bootlid from a ST and fit that then the usuals like alloys, lowering , indictiopn kit, exhaust etc?

Here's a pic of mine at it's best IMO altnhough add the spoiler blocks but this look was the one I preferred

Just what I'd do lol

Yer I was thinking about debadging the back.. How'd you do that? are they just stuck on and need a hair dryer of something?

Will be getting the clear indicators and hopefully a new gear knob this months pay check if I can find a Gear Knob I like and isn't too expensive.

Side Skirts are going to happen just need to take the plunge..

I might get the SSIII Front and Rear splitters but I currently like the idea of colour coding my Euro Splitters that are currently on the car.

Thanks for your comments.

I Love the look of your car!

You can get them off easily enough I'd advise using a hairdryer and a bit of fishing line or similar. There's 2 holes behind the badges, the front badge is VERY flimsy compared to the rear so be a lot more careful when removing that one. If you go to Halfords they sell something called sticky stuff remover (yellow tin) which will remove the residue that's left behind and is very good stuff for the money (about 5 quid a tin IIRC)

The side repeaters and front indicators are now available there's a company called Karlites on ebay who sell the front ones. I had a TRD Ball Gear Knob I picked up for about 15 quid biggrin.gif

I didn't notice you had the Euro's on the front that's my bad. I'd leave them black personally else you'll make the back seem a little plain in comparison

Side skirts are well worth doing biggrin.gif

I loved the look of my car, Not so much now it's owned by someone who doesn't have a clue (I know from the new car I've come to own and had to repair myself)

Look forward to watching yours progress smile.gif

I have some Sticky Stuff remover and you are right, It's very good for the money.. Sounds like I will be Debadging her tonight then.. I think I will leave the Toyota symbol badge though as I like that look.. Might Spray black that as the silver is in need of a refresh..

I like those gauges, not often that a different-than-standard number orientation is used. Reminds slightly of a Mustang. Lack of badges looks tidy as well.

There you go, much cleaner looking. If Toyota didn't leave locating holes everywhere I'd have donethe whole lot and removed it all. Instead I had to do the badge black like so smile.gif
