This hood group buy is very close to being official. The C-One will be the hood that is made.

definetly.... well its a hot hood, and he's giving us time to get money, becuase most of us dont have $400+ when the shippings done lying around right now... but since it's being planned for (what looks like from the majority of people) late spring, thats a decent amount of time to save up some money...

lol lets see... car bill or hood well the hood will do me a lot with out the car Well, the problem with running a group buy such as a hood is that not everyone just has 350 dollars that they can spit on their car real quick, most as soon as they get that much will spend it instantly. ne ways..... still working out the details and what not, so hopefully this will be good keep on a postin and we'll get a good good deal on these!!! -------------------- i am awesome

How many are we going to need for the GB to go through? I know they had a problem getting 15 (I think) people together that were for sure in for the TRD style hood, so we should probably set a number and make sure that everyone on the list is 100% serious about it.

Are there just going to be two holes in the center? Will we need to make some kinda enclosure to keep water off the engine/other components? Or is there some kinda vent that blocks water and still lets it look really cool that we could put on there? -Brian |

okay, I doubt there is a difference in hood height, the angle just makes it look that way...plus it's black, so a definition of depth is more absent...

The hoods are the same, except for one is exposed carbon fiber. Just to be positive, that image of the hood on the white car is the one from C-One's website, and after translation, the website where that photo of the blue car originates from says that it's the C-One hood. Also, if anyone's interested, I photoshopped this hood onto my car.

yes, c-one makes 2 hoods, one for the 202 and the other for the 205. since we'll be getting the 202 style I don't think it will work with your 205 bumper. and I don't think it could be modified very easily.

This hood would be made by ViS, right? I think we should be contacting them with this list to show them how much interest there really is instead of just CyberBestBuy. After all, CBB only sells the stuff that gets made by ViS in the first place, so there is no direct control over whether or not it gets made by them, being a distributor and all.

This is insane, I've never seen a GB that is this expensive grow this fast. We've got more people on this list for something thats over $300 than we did for the Lotek GB that was only $50.
