There's a really good description on Supraforums.com look under car audio and alarms then it's a sticky. I'd find it but I'm lazy.

Last time I checked that link didn't work for me. These how-to articles have been helpful for me. I'll be putting up my own as soon as my project is done, but in the mean time, that link is very helpful. Also, The12Volt.com has an excellent forum which discusses working with fiberglass. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I would wait untill spring or summer because fiberglass dose a lot better in warmer weather. the only advice i have for you is to go and buy a box of latex gloves (i didnt and regreted it).

wisely said ![]() If you do work in the winter make sure you have a good heat sorce on the fiberglass.. I use a Halogen worklight that I got from wal-mart for 30$.. as for the gloves.. wear two pairs when working with the glass... The resin will eat away at the latex and it makes it alot easier to clean up with the two pairs on This post has been edited by NEVERSTOP: Jan 28, 2004 - 12:03 PM -------------------- ![]() 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

also i would recommend doing first layer in Cloth because it makes working with the other layers alot easier. Atleast thats what I found when building my sub box.

I'd imagine it's not a good kind of high though. I've heard of people having trouble breathing after working with fiberglass without a mask. Also, the resin sometimes gives me a headache, even though I wear a mask. It's strong stuff. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I just did it outside....no headache and I was only a little buzzed. I reccomend big fans though. I hate masks....Get lots of gloves...the green ones at home depot that are chemical resistant. More expencive (slightly) than regular ones but don't erode when the resin hits 'em.
