Okay maybe I'm just retarded but I really dont understand the whole spring/coilover thing. Whats the big difference there? And what the h3ll is up with the spring rates? I am just so lost and I cant find anything to help me out. So if you guys wouldn't mind, could you please post all of the info I would need to help me decide what I am going to want to do with my suspension.

Feel free to call me retarded.

Coilovers are adjustable, meaning you can go anywhere from a 0 inch drop to a 4in. (or so) drop by adjustment.

Springs arn't adjustable but are considered a smoother ride than coilovers.

Spring rate is the strength of the spring.

The higher the spring rate > the stiffer the spring > the bumpier the ride > the better the handling

Actually you can raise the car about an inch or slightly more. I used to do that to clear snow drifts in the winter when I lived in kansas. Man, I sure don't miss that.
