Hello 6gc. I'm looking for a good s54 transmission to use for my LSD upgrade. I'm hoping to find one with less than 150k and in generally good condition. Newer than 1995 is a plus.

Dan, so true haha. I've had so many I can pretty much plot out the case casting evolution of the s54 from '94-'99. Hopefully my next one will be my last Probably not

Yes. I do. Around 80k miles. Shifted perfectly the little bit I used it. The previous owner attested to the "smooth as butter" feel also. It's sitting in my yard on a pallet under a tarp. Waiting for someone to love it again. I thought I'd need it for mine, but I got mine sorted all out.

Still looking for trans, I got my stock that came out of my '94 GT 5s, think I have both axles and both shift cables other parts I used for my swap.
Im in Chicago IL area, if you want it make me an offer and come get her. I cant say how it ran cause I had rod through block when I got car, but last owner said car ran fine till he blew up motor.
