Before I start my adventures to the junkyards... I was wondering of anyone has discovered a way to purchase those plastic push screws (usually used on the door panel edges) and/or other plastic screws (like the ones used to secure the trunk liners) ????
Also, been looking out for anyone parting out their ride on the Buying/Selling forum. -Vic -------------------- ![]() |

those are hard to get, and even junkyard ones are broken. I checked on toyota and they want 4usd a piece. I tried here, and japukspares sent me a package from UK, its not here yet, but you can contact him...
be sure to post pics of exactly what you want to avoid confusion. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

They sell generic replacement plastic push pins at my local Lordco and Canadian Tire, so I'm guessing they'd sell them at your local AutoZone or Harbor Freight and other such car parts stores. Check those places out first, you may save yourself some waiting time and guesswork from buying online.

Thanks Guys. I did buy some at Oriley's... they seemed like they would fit well. Weird thing was they did not engage well (meaning pushing the tab in was taking too much force / and effort); really felt like an idiot.
Anywho, once they engage they would break! Really surprised by the shotty quality. I'll try autozone next... -------------------- ![]() |
