Ok, so now that I've got a new daily. (2011 Honda Accord coupe v6 auto) I'm going full racekar status with the Celica. Anyone bypassed the heater core? Wondering if there's anything to keep in mind.
Should just involve finding a C-shaped hose that fits both the outgoing water pipe -> into water neck. Should just simply keep me from having heat in the car. I can't think of anything else.

Thanks

I bypassed mine because my heater core was cracked..

I haven't had any issues with it haha but I also don't race my car (yet) so issues might arise with overheating on the track. idk..just throwin that out there haha

Thanks for the quick response. I've got a low temp t-stat and a koyo radiator so I shouldn't be overheating at all. Plus I removed the A/C & condenser that takes up a lot of room & slows airflow.

Did you just use a 5/8" (or whatever the correct size is) hose and bend it? or did you find one that was pre-shaped? If you happen to remember what it was that could save me a little time. (note- 3sgte swap)

Unfortunately brother, I can't help you on that one.

It was an "oh ****" type of thing. I was filling my coolant for the first time after the swap and noticed it was just pouring out behind the dash so I looked around the shop for something that would work. I *think* it was some coolant hose from a Ducati 1198s we parted but I'm not for sure. Sorry man..

If you do find out a good solution, please update this thread haha It's one of those things on my to do list to fix correctly.
