So will one of the bluetooth adapters work so we can read our check engine codes accurately?

I think it'll take some wiring work between the engine harness and chassis harness to make sure all of the wires are in the correct pins but after that it should work. There may not be any wiring work necessary but it's worth checking. After that, all you need is the Bluetooth adapter and an app that supports JOBD. Check out ricochet1490's thread, he has it working on his BEAMS but he used his RHD dash harness so he didn't have to worry about repinning anything.

Mines not hooked up and i need to. The car feels sluggish. I want to know what all is wrong.
