I'm a huge fan of white cars with black (exterior) accents. But I have a black car and have been tossing around the idea of white accent/trim pieces, ie: white rims, window trim,headlight/hood gasket... Maybe a few other things. Haven't really seen any cars on here like that so I was wondering if it's because it looks terrible or maybe I just haven't seen it yet. Any pics, ideas, opinions ?

Any feedback at all would be great!

Thanks

-Trevor

Welcome to the forum! Honestly, white accents in the areas you listed on a black car is flirting with rice imo. wheels can come out nice. but its all a matter of personal taste, its your car after all!

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

Thanks for the welcome, been here about 6 months taking it all in lol. And you make a good point, I love rice! Just not on cars. I'm going for really clean looking, almost VIP style not racey. I am going to start with white wheels after all the body work is done and then I guess just see where it goes from there.

I my self have a black celica and prefer to leave it black and use wheels with a a dark contrast like bronze which sets the car of and looks slick at the same time, not only because it looks good but in my opinion white and black doesnt allways look good, but in your cause painting widow trims white is going to make the car look cheap, but you could pull of a nice set of white wheels,

I would leave it black.
IMO, it would be similar to a dude wearing white framed sunglasses with a dark lens laugh.gif

I had the same idea, but with a chrome or gunmetal color on the trim, gt4 bumper and hood grill, and wheels. Anyone seen this before? I see a lot of black cars on the road with silver grills and wonder if it will work here.
