Does anyone make a CAI for my 95 GT, I see that Dr. CAI makes one for a ST but I can't find one for my GT, I've looked in the Parts Data base and searched via aol. haha I am not to confident in Ebay parts soo I am turning to you guys. anybody have one? I know celiqt ( i think) your sig says something about custom intakes. Will I have to goto to that extent to get one? haha i dont know if you can tell but I am getting a lil frustrated. Thanks for any help, -Brandon -------------------- ![]() |

As far as we all know, no one is currently producing CAI's for the GT. You have to custom fabricate it yourself. PVC pipes and some heat wrap should work. Good Luck.

Yea, I make shortrams, I WOULD make cold air intakes but the Celi's body is F'd up in that area so I have no decent hole that goes to the fender/bumper area.
LatinKraze, I hope you or anybody NEVER uses PVC pipes for making intakes, they release toxic fumes when they are hot and can knock you out while driving. |

It would be a regular intake. Those just suck in hot air from the engine bay.

Eventhough the short ram gets air from the engine bay, it still performs better than the stock intake

the high performance drop in air filter performs just as well as the regular intake.

It'll tell you that the drop in air filter and the regular intake have the same performance output. It's been proven. EDIT: Thanks GeEkBoY....you found it alot quicker. This post has been edited by LatinKraze: Feb 11, 2004 - 8:12 PM |

if you wanna cai, building your own is really your only option i biult mine for around 20 bucks plus the filter and the pipe stays nice and cool and its loud, i still have to get the pipe chromed, i used 2 90 degree ruber bends and bought 2 18 inch 2 1/4 exhaust pipe cut them to size and made a bracket to mout to the bottom of the baterry box , problem was i had to move my cruise control over to where the stock air box was and make up som bralets for it but thats was easy and it all looks good and make a big defference compared to stock
