Exterior GRAPHIXS!!!, What do you think? Options

Was up everyone?

So me and my boys are starting our own racing team, and we were trying to come up with a "fast and furious" style graphics for our car! I have a black Celi. and i am going to have chrome rims, so i think a Chrome and red, yellow design. But a major part of it chrome design! what do you guys think, or suggest!?

well, to me chrome rims and vinyal is a no-no.
chrome is luxury, not sport.

but its your car, do with it what u want.

If u had silver rims, i would suggest silver and white grafix.

I think he means the extensive vinyl graphics on the majority of the cars in "The Fast and the Furious."

I honestly think your car would look much better without graphics, since you've got big chrome wheels. I'd go for the clean look.

Yeah i did, not to mention i also decked the last guy that laughed at me! hahaha, whos laughing now!? anyways, the reason i posted it like, du**ch bag...i mean...andason wanted to know was because i like exterior graphs, and like my bud coomer said i am looking for some ideas, and insight! not to have the sarcasm of a HATER!!! hahahaha anyways thanks for everyone elses insight!

imo i dont like graphics unless they are ghosted and very subtle which is hard to do with vinyl...i dunno though

I agree that your car would look much better w/ the chrome rims and no graphics. keep it clean. In my opinion ugly graphics and park bench wings take away from the great lines of the 6g

No doubt, Celica is an awesome looking car clean...why change it? I could post some more advice, but you can just reread what I posted in your thread about the fake-turbo sound....but in any case do what you like I guess...even if it does only please 5% of the import crowd.

i cant give my personal opinion without being very harsh and negative on either the fake BOV or large body graphics topics, so i wont.

so in that case here is a good place to look at different graphic designs and they do anything you wish custom as well.

i have done business with them in the past and would definatly do business again with in the future, they are very nice people and very trustworthy will work with you to make it exactly how you want it.

Personally I really hate it when I see graphics on a car. The only time its even slightly cool is when they ARE PAINTED. Not just some vinyl crap u slap onto the car. I wont even mention that movie, although the flaming is about to begin now...

Cars look so much better clean. Is ur car sponsored by numerous companies, who PAY YOU to have that sticker on there? No then dont put it on there. The same would go with those graphics, You'd have to pay me to put them on there, and even then i'd probably reconsider... 'graphix' = dumb.

But yea do whatever you want, as its your car. Then again I'm not very fond of chrome rims and such either.

Have you tried Jcwhitney.com?
Last time i checked they had all that stuff in stock. Probably the best way to find out about em would be to do a WEBSEARCH. Like google, only you may want to spell it GRAPHICS, and not 'graphix'

I some grafix are r ok but take care not make your car look like S**t . Oh yeah, stay away from chrome it is just plain ugly.

if you are set on doing graphics...do a two tone with it
or some kind of full body
that's the only kind i really like, because it leaves the car clean looking.

and if you have the money for that, I personally have always LOVED the dark red(almost like Phat99's) with a grey-ed, dark, blue...

and other vinyl...or graphic, whatnot...would look kinda ricey IMHO unless the car is INDEED fast (low 13's or better)

how about instead of a full body graphic, jsut have the name of you team on a small decal that you put on your window or soemthing....

I think the key with graphics is the choice of colors. You have a black car, so you have to think of colors that go with the car, its ok to have 1 off color but 2 is just ugly. You want red and yellow? Go with grey and yellow, that would look good man, well good for graphics anyway

yellow+grey/silver on a black car would look good

red+silver on black would look good as well. silver is a good accent color.

take a pic or your car then photoshop some graphics on it so to see how it would look... then when you and your team find something you like go to a shop and have it done... and since you have chrome, you can have a grahpic that looks that the chrome from the wheels is spitting off on to the body of the car.

anyway... if you have a black car, i would have to say red if you went for anything. and keep it clean and tastefull atlease...

Graffix can look really nice aslong as there not flashy or too large.. I think nice subtle graffixs can look really good on a car.. and im sure if most of the people on here thought about it they have seen a car.. weither it be online or in a mag or whatever that had graffix on it that they drooled over... I personally would never put ne of that genie, knight, rocketmen or ne other stuff like that on my car but I plan on doing some real lowkey graffix on mine - but I also have the advantage of living in the same town as the owner of Modern Image - hehe god I love hook ups
