 Knocking noise when A/C is turned on |

Hello everyone!
New 6gc owner here. Need advise on knocking noise when ac is turned on. It goes away when ac is off. Can it be loose bolts or faulty belts? When ac is on, knocking noise at intervals. Could it be related to the fan? St204 Thanks! |

when the ac is off the pulley is free spinning. When u turn on the ac, it kicks on the compressor and clutch and now there is some load. I would check if the pulley has play, might be your clutch, or both your compressor going out, how old is it. Double check for looseness.
