IMO opinion they are not worth the price that some companies charge. They won't get you that much power either. It would be less costly and more power to make a CAI. With a header you're lookin at 5-15hp for a few hundred dollars. you can get 15 for about $100 worth of piping for a CAI

Right, the power/money ratio is not as cost efficient as an intake, but some 5s-fe's need all the power they can get.

do you have hedders on your 5s-fe turbo?

I believe that if you buy hedders off a 5s-fe camry, you can modify them to fit your 5s-fe- these can be purchased from bosal.

Dude a cold air intake is not going to give you any where near 15 hp...your luckey to get about 3... and with the header i read on celica.net that aerospeed makes one for about 250$ And your not only paying for the speed your also payin for the exelent sound that you can only get out of a header. Headers only really help out with your top end speed. I plan on doing my hole exhaust soon from the headers all the way back with a hi flow cat and the gready sp. Now with all that i would be luckey to get 15 hp.

well...If you are aiming for high top speed then I wouldn't worry about headers. There is a lot more that you are gonna have to replace to get a high top speed. And if you have exhaust then you aren't really gonna be able to hear the headers that well. unless your ear is right next to them. That's just my opinion.

and jayi12-15psi/if you have a turbo then you won't need a headers and they won't really work either. All you have is a turbo exhaust manifold and down pipe. See, turbo's use the exhaust pressure to work. It's a long story.

And one more thing, I'm not totally sure about this but if you have exhaust and headers then you should get more than 15hp. I'm not totally sure. But if you are after inexpensive power go for the CAI. They sound cool too.
