Prolly have to do the commonly talked about 3s-gte engine/tranny swap, although i never thought about just doing awd to the stock engine.........eh, i think if i had that kinda potential in my drivetrain i couldnt resist dropping in an engine thats up to par with the tranny, like the 3s.... biggrin.gif

Oh, and as for cost, it would probably be around 1.5k for the tranny, maybe.....?? Not too sure aobut that, maybe someone else knows this topic a little better.

try getting a 5th gen alltrac. It will have a 3sgte,tranny and rearend. I just went and checked one out at a local car dealer and The rear end is almost exactly the same as the 6th gen... I would think that you could bolt it up to a 6th gen chasie prettly easy.

otherwise if you use a 6th gen rearend you will need to relocate your gastank and do a little bit of cutting to fit the pumpkin. the exhaust also has to be moved but if you gonna do a 3sgte swap then its a smart Idea to move it newayz

forgot to add that you can pick up a 5th gen alltrac stateside for around 3 grand... thats alot cheaper than trying to sorce all of the parts by them selves
