What octane do you pump on your celli? I'm deciding to change from 89 to either 87 or 91.

What are the diferences etc..? I'm leaning slightly towards #91

Also, what gas station do you pump at? I pump at 76.

i put 103 in my car the other night and man could i tell a difference. my rpms just shot up fast as hell. its worth it, but shelling out $4 a gallon is a little steep for my slim budget.

NZ has 91, 96 and 98. I use 98.
Mine is a 96 SS-1 JDM. No detonation whatsoever, and goes like elephant with its tail on fire.

The 3sgte barley runs smooth on 91 octane you will need a booster to make it not ping

its called sulfer and i dont think it has to do with what kind of gas you use

i tend to use 89 but when im budgeted i just reach for the 87... i use clark b/c the attendant is cool as hell and its local, im sold on good service.

i try to use a fuel treatment and/or injector cleaner once a month or ASAP after that... i know it really isnt necessary to do it that often, but its just good maintinance and keeps me from getting any unexpected surprises...

WOA: dont let your gas level dip to nearly empty aka riding on fumes... cuz actually you are riding on sludge and foreign matter that accumulate in the bottom of your fuel tank... stuff that just shouldnt go through your fuel system.... its ok once and a while but being in a repair shop, you really do not want to see inside some of these peoples gas tanks its pretty nasty.

I agree with John. theres no real point in using anything better than 87 in a 115 hp N/A engine running relatively low compression.

I use 91-93 octane....whichever octane the premium is at the gas station i stop at. Usually SA or Conoco. I'd like to find where they sell higher octane's like 98, 103, 120 etc. I'd liek to just try it once. I do notice a slight change in feel when i use higher octane and so i like to use it. Plus I think I'm cool when I fill my Celi up with Premium...makes me feel richer than I really am...lol.

Also, how often should a person use that fuel injector cleaner stuff?

Does the STP Octane Booster work?

If you were to get nitrous, what octane should be run?

Thanks!
