Women comment on my '97 convertible constantly. Men do as well, but every women has something nice to say. I usually ask the same women what they think of the Miata, and they almost always say it's gay. The 1999-2008 Miatas look good to me, but chicks just ain't feeling it.
 I see plenty of Miatas, and despite their reputation as a girl's car, I've never seen one driven by a girl...???My '97 vert is identical to Novak's, except I don't have a spoiler. Black is a very good color for that car, but the best I've seen was a grey model.
