Do you think my street tires are reusable?

Trash. Maybe it's because I've been a cyclist for longer than I care to remember, or because I'm a safety freak, but that doesn't look safe at all. I co-owned a bike shop, so throwing out a $50 tire wasn't as painful as it might be for most, but I threw them out before and after the bike shop. Some had less than a couple miles on them! A person needs to establish a safety threshold question like, "Would I hand Grandma the keys, and not say a word about mucked up tires?" I owned plenty of motorcycles as well, and they got a safety check before I slung my leg over the seat. If that meant 15 times a day, that's what it was. A rip in upholstery is one thing, but when you start to think something is unsafe, chances are you're right.
