now that ive driven it for about 4 days since putting it in the garage for the winter, i will never second guess my decision to trade my celica for a mr2. the car is just all around incredable. just realize there is a slight learning curve to get the driving style of the car down. you have to go through a few sets of tires in some open parking lots (or autox courses) to really get the full feel of the car, and what happens when you get too much on the throttle when exiting a turn and the boost starts to kick. since you already had a fiero, your already over 1/2 way there, but adding turbo to it gives it a little different feel and response. Car and Driver quoted as saying something like the turbo version of the MK2 MR2 is of a totally different breed than the non-turbo version. IMO if you get the NA, you might as well have stayed with the Celica.

other notables:
the mr2 has an astounding aftermarket support, both JDM and USDM markets. and cool things to think about is alot of the members and owners make custom MR2 parts for sale, check out mr2faq.com to see everything, its a great group they have over there, but they are all very biased towards there cars, as well they should be. hehe. other cool things is the have certain shops that taylor specifically to the MR2, such as Mr. 2 Performance shop out in Colorado Springs.

hit me up on AIM anytime if you have any questions or want any more info, i LOVE talking about my MR2 biggrin.gif
