So im new to the forum and im also new to celicas. I have a 1994 toyota celica with a 7a-fe, if you could tell me what model celica it is that would be great. I picked it up for 250$ with a clean shell and super clean interior but, for the price of 250$ i also got a blown motor. So im looking for a possible engine swap i could do, My price range is around 1200$ - 1500$. Could also use a motor from a older model celica? Thanks!

at that range, i suggest getting a new 7A-FE
you have an AT200 or what we call a Celica ST. it came with the less powerful 7A-FE engine. its a 1.8L that makes about 100HP. possible engine swaps are, a replacement 7A-FE, or 1MZ-FE (V6) the V6 swap will be at the top of your 1500 dollar range but let me tell you it will be so worth it. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
