Aloha everyone from the state of Hawaii my mom's car has a problem 95 Toyota camry 5sfe 2.2L auto trans
The car cranks but wont turn over! 808joey and myself checked timing belt to see if its torn or slipping but its still good, change distributor, and yet no spark to the plugs, also car take OBD1 so we used a paper clip to see any sensors that r not working but the check engine light doesnt come on or flashs. I was wondering is that a good thing or not  ????What I am going to do is to switch the ignition module for my 5sfe motor see from there any ideas or if anyone have that same problem?????? --------------------  The New Kid on the Block |

first off, cranking and turning over is the same thing. its not running.
so you say you are not getting any spark as you crank the engine? thats telling me the ignighter is bad or coil. can you tell if the injectors are firing? take out the plugs and see if they are wet. if they are not wet then im guessing that the cam position is not getting to the ECU. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
