Has anyone ever dealt with a rusted fuel line that runs to the gas tank before? If so how hard was the work to perform or how expensive was it to have it repaired? About to pick up a 6g but it has this problem. Also has the brake line rusted out as as well. As of now both were just cut where it was rusted and welded. So no new part was replaced for the old part, it was just welded. Gas line still gets moist and you smell it a bit.

How much money am I gonna have to cough up to have this repaired? Is it even worth it if I have to replace all of the fuel line and all of the brake line?

I picked up a 95 gt from a farm recently and it had the same issues.

My solution was ...

Replace rusted part of fuel line with rubber fuel hose and use fuel clamps.
As for the brake lines... i bought replacement brake lines with fittings.

I cut out the rusted areas and replaced them by flaring out the lines and putting the fittings on. Screw together and its done. Pretty simple. Cost me 8 bucks for the rubber hose and clamps. And the brake lines cost me around 20 bucks. 30 mins and i was done.
