so I replaced the Valve cover on my 3SGTE and the car now sounds nice and clean (after having a big oil leak and misfire) and yet I have a huge coolant leak from the back of the engine. (intake side). there was 500ml or more on the ground and bubbly squirty noises from under the throttle body.
So, any idea which hose it might be? I can't drive it to the mechanics and living in Japan I can't tell the mechanic anything... Help me 6gc, you're my only hope... |

It is the same, I managed to watch as 300ml sprayed out from under the TB today. So there are two possibilities: 1 not enough tension on the gasket or the hose is split ( I checked the clamp and it`s tight and where it should be. The volume coming out was pretty big. Pretty sure its split. Anyone know the hose part#s? I'll have to get another TB gasket, but if I can't source the hose #s then I have to take it to the shop
