you are making a big deal out of nothing, what exactly is going on? if you need to replace the sensor just unplug the harness and swap it out. yes water is going to come out, not alot, but some will.
the sensor is constantly on, it provides the ECU the temperature of the coolant for enrichment and tuning -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
