Are our cars known for autocrossing? I just found a Tein suspension kit and Suspension Tech sway bar set at Nopi. Is it worth getting to make our cars handle better? I know Rally was popular with the GT-4s. Is there a big difference between the two cars suspension wise? ST vs. GT-4?

No, it can be either side, depending on the conditions. Try this. When it is wet out (after a rain or something), pull up to a stoplight and turn left. Pull away from the light normally, then, as you go around the left hander, as you are exiting the turn, and before you have the wheels straight again, goose it. The driver's side front wheel will break loose. Now, do the same thing, this time turn right. Goose it as you go through the turn, the passenger side front tire will spin. Now, under normal conditions, on dry roads, taking off in a straight line, the car might have more of a tendancy to spin the driver's side, which might have given you the impression that that is the one that spins, but I assure you that either tire can spin depending on the circumstances. |
