I have a 1998 GT lift back with 101k miles.
It started as a soft, rubbery feeling when shifting into 2nd 4th or reverse to not being able to shift into those gears at all. Once it got in gear it was fine. 1st 3rd and 5th work wonderfully. I can't shift into the bottom gears while the car is off. Before reverse went out completely, I could roll the car in first a few inches, then shift reverse. Ideas? Thanks |

It's a pretty simple thing to do! I think there's one car guy on the island with you...808celica or something like that. I don't know how far apart you guys are, but you never know.
Just look for people parting out GT's on here! |
