back with another quick question!
im planning on installing my heated seat elements this/next weekend as soon as my seat covers get delivered and want to know which is the easiest (skilled but im lazy lol) location for a 12v + ACCESSORY wire to power the seats? i was told that i can probably use the cig lighter but im pretty sure that is a constant even tho theres no power when the key is removed (i dont want my battery dead in the morning!) wire colour+location or a pic would be a great help. -------------------- ![]() "whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me" |

The cigarette lighter shuts off when the car does. There is no power once the key is removed.
You are running your heaters to a switch for each one right? -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. Daily driver/beater 1999 Toyota Camry LE 5S-FE 216K Miles. RIP You will be missed. ![]() *ASE Certified General Manager |

Was unsure because not all cars seem to do that. Yep each seat has its own switch. It's just a standard heated seat kit. -------------------- ![]() "whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me" |
