hi. Just had my dvd player grounded to allow dvd playback but now my panel and speedo lights dont work (spree led installed ages ago)
Changed the interior fuse as it had blown but still nothing, my electrical knowkedge is minimal so apologies if this is a simple fix thanks |

Sounds like you shorted the circuit to ground. Remove anything just done, replace the fuse. Turn on power, pops again, its certainly shorted to ground. Does he know the proper color code for Toyota wiring? Cause black isn't ground. Thank you, he said it was pink but will undo it and see how it goes You can bypass the switch by jumping the circuit and see if the switch is blown that way. If lights come on, switch is bad, if lights don't, switch is probably good and theres another problem.
