i was thinkin about painting my car should i get it done at a local body shop or get teh $600 deal from maaco????

sanding, scuffing, masking, tacking it off, any kind of conditioning they use on the painted surface to help the new paint adhere, if they use any flex addititive or any other type of additive in the paint to promote longevity and to help prevent chipping. also know if they paint the door jams and engine bay (im sure everyone asks this question anyways), as mac said check to see what brand of paint they use, DuPont and PPG are usually your best bets. if it was me id also check to see what type of spray gun and spray process they use.
