I have seen a lot of celica owners will paint over the plastic around where the air vents are and the center consol, I think it would look really cool black and green, but im wondering how to get started

I did the same last year, sanded a bit, cleaned with degreaser, plastic primer and the spraycan paint.... but I'm not really satisfied with the results, everything is painted half-assed, so I'm going to do the real thing this year, with paint gun...
