It was a green celica with led taillights that looked like an aston martin - can't find pics. Does anyone have pics or part numbers for reference? It was on this forum too.

It wouldnt be difficult but it would be labor intensive.
Short of making a mold of the lense- Take an old taillight, remove the lense by baking it in the oven(200 degrees-lowest setting) or dunking it in a pot of boiling water to loosen the tar/glue that holds it on. Now modify the inside of the housing to look however you want. This car has what looks like a flat surface of black material. Inlay your LEDs at this point. Next take a sheet of clear material, flex it over the housing(where the lense normally sits) and trim it to fit the housing. Looks like this guy used light diffuser material, the stuff thats on the light covers for fluorescent lights in celings made of tiles. You can buy it at home depot Last, glue the mofo on and you have Aston Martin lights |
