Hello guys.
About 1 week ago I got some strange problem. Engine rpm goes to 7750 instead of 7250 and an engine light turns on. I have AEM FIC 6 installed and Apexi Gen 1 RSM. Removed AEM FIC and have same problem. Apexi RSM as I know doesn't have remove rev limiter function. personally I don't think that's it's an apexi problem. What do you think guys? The check engine problem was solved by replacing a knock sensor.
and on my rpm problem I found this one: https://www.assembla.com/spaces/3SGTE_ECU/w...n_Modifications CODE Standard rev limit is 7400 RPM (The stock rev counter is not that accurate so it's widely reported the rev limit is 7200-7250).
There are 2 places in the standard code that implement the rev limit: By changing the 94h to a higher value, the rev limit can be increased. To calculate the value required take the required rev limit and divide it by 50. For example: 7400 / 50 = 94h 7750 / 50 = 9Bh This post has been edited by Red123: Apr 30, 2013 - 5:17 PM -------------------- |
