I'd say that there's something wrong with your wiring or maybe you've got a blown fuse. LEDs are usually in parallel, so if one goes out the rest are still working.

**cough** in series not parallel**cough**cough**

How come you see third lights where only one or two LEDs in the middle aren't working?
I'm not familiar with this specific wing brake light, but putting something as a row of LEDs, used as a brake indicator, in series would be just dumb...

I kindof got mixed up, I use both just like BMW, I do parallel rows of about 3 leds in series, but ive used just parallel, too like on the cluster of my GT, and on the turn signals of my ST and they lasted as long as I had the car(over 2 years) and not a single one burnt biggrin.gif, but I used both like I said on the dome lights of my MR2, it just depends if Im making a strip, or a square/similar shape.

They are wired either in parallel( for a few large LEDs) or both series and parallel for arrays with a lot of LEDs. Most importantly each LED consumes 2-4 volts of electricity so at 12 volts you cant run more than 3 - 5 leds in series before they start running out of power.

Mine has 97 leds, it has 39 circuits( composed of 2 - 3 leds in SERIES) connected in parallel across a common power and ground.

Notice the small blue resistors are for the vertical rows of 3 leds in series and the large tan resistors are for the short 2 led circuits in between.

DAMN! I would love to see a picture of that monster turned on!
