So I just got wheels and tires for my '99 Celica vert, running 17x8 +35 with 215/45/17 tires and I wanna clear the wheel gap but not be slammed, bottom out, and not have the wheel touch the wheel well.
I'm not looking for a coilover system/sleeves I'm looking for lowering springs with no modifications. 1.) What are your guys' experience with Megan Racing Lowering Springs? Any sagging with them? If so, how many inches? 2.) Also, rolling the rear fender? I notice it's a bit thicker than the front. Thanks guys! Really appreciate it! ![]() |

You're probably going to have to roll the rear fender, as it'll sit pretty close, if not flush. Or you can camber a bit to avoid that.
Personally, I've always had good luck with Eibach springs. No sagging issues. I've heard some bad things about Megans springs though. The coilovers are a good option, but the springs are not as good. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles.
