Would like to drive it about 3 months while I build my spare 7afe. Will it make it?
 Looks like copper or brass.

if it aint knocking, dont worry about it. if it is knocking, still dont worry about it, just keep oil in it, till it really gets bad. i've heard cars that knocked like crazy go thousands of miles without issue, other than burning some oil, and i've seen cars that started knocking, and 3 seconds later spit a rod out the side of the block..lol just luck of the draw i guess.
if you know your gonna have a spare ready soon, i'd definetly not hesitate to continue to drive it. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
