My blacktop engine is in! I tried to use my old steering pump, but that won't work unfortunately.
I'm going to take the reservoir off, but i'm curious how other people connected their pump lines. Hopefully you guys can send me some pictures so i can complete the swap. Thanks. ![]() -------------------- |

Here's how I had my Power setup on my celica when I still had it.
![]() ![]() ![]() I used a celica GT external PS reservoir and cut off the bracket that holds it and weld on 1/4 steel piece and drill a hole big enough to mount it on the inside of the passenger-side fender wall as shown in the picture. Like soulshadow said, have an hydraulic shop crimp the fittings from the 20v pump to the power steering rack and the other end going from the rack to the external reservoir. Last you will need a hose from the reservoir to the suction side of the power steering pump. -------------------- ![]() |
