fwd to awd Options

Hi I have a 1996 Celica ZR fwd anf I was wondering if I would be able to turn it into an awd and if so how ?

I've thought about it, but with Aussie transport regulations it makes it even less plausible than the states... If you want to throw money at it just save up for one of the 77... They go for $18-20k. An import sold 2 weeks ago for $12k, but that is rare You wouldn't bother AWD'ing a 5S, so first step would be a 3rd gen 3SGTE swap, which would probably blow like $5k and then all the bits for AWD. You would end up spending similar money, but have a kit car that is hard to register and insure, and is only worth 20% more than what the car is worth now, rather than $18k.

Also, you've been on the forums a few times now, and should be able to pick up the theme that first step in any quest is to search, then to ask... This question has been covered more than once, and following a few build threads would put you in very good stead if you were to ever consider it
