Hi,
I'm posting to let you guys know that the management is now going to be removing more and more non-Celica photos whenever we find them. Tonight I launched a portion of the site which allows us to easily remove photos and email a reason to the member whose photos we remove. So if you have non-Celica photos in your profile, we ask that you please remove them. smile.gif

Photos of just you(if your Celica is in the shot, it's acceptable though), your pets, your other cars(pics with your other cars are only allowed if your Celica is in the photo as well), etc. are not allowed. There are a couple reasons for this.

1. Bandwidth is expensive. I pay the site's hosting fees, and the more images that are hosted and viewed on 6G Celicas, the higher the bandwidth usage numbers are, and the more it costs to host the site.

2. Photos of your pets, other cars, and other non-Celica photos are off-topic, and don't relate to your Celica in most cases. Since the site is a Celica site, having only Celica photos on it is better. smile.gif

3. In the near future, I've got plans to implement a random image generator, and a page that randomly selects an image from every member and displays it so that users can easily find some cool Celicas. As shown in the image below, it would look funny if when you're expecting all images of every members' Celica, you get a picture of some person in the middle of it. wink.gif

I don't understand why my Carbon Fiber "VIS Racing" logo was removed. Its Celica related, it was a Digital Camera picture of my VIS OEM CF Hood. Either way, yesterday I bought a '00 Celica GT-S, so I don't have my 6GC anymore, so this is sort of a goodbye as well. But none-the-less, it was Celica related....
