okay here we go im starting my 5sgte thread im planning to go with the 3sgte crank instead of the 5s crank. does any body know exactly how this would work and if it does work. i know pressure2 was doing a big bore set up for someone like this and was wondering if you could use the 3sgte crank and rods.

you dont deck the block (other than the absolute minimum needed to ensure straighness anyway.) ats racing and a couple vendors on the mr2 boards stock the custom pistons to use the 3s crank in the 5s block, and about every known 3s piston supplier will make them with no issue.
if you cant figure out which intake manifold you need to use, your not ready for the project, period. to me, its just common sense, if your using the 3s head, you'd be using a 3s intake manifold, right? -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
