 Sunroof and door panel repair question |

My sunroof quit working right after a friend tried to open the sunroof with the shade closed. Now it will not slide open at all, and will open up only with the slide button. I got another sunroof motor at an pull-a-part the other day, I was wanting to know how do i adjust the motor to make sure everything is lined up right when i swap out motors.
Also picked up a couple of door panels but they have cracks on the boards on the backside, i was wondering what's the best way to fix those. |

Its been awhile since I've looked at door panels, but you might be able to push the cracks back into place then reinforce from the inside using fiberglass?
