As posted before, have a GOOOOOOOD read through all them stickies that were linked above.
Yes there are multiple engines (somewhat) readily available to us in australia. 3SGE 3SGE - Beams 3SGTE - but you dont want turbo Or a V6 Swap. Mind you, a Beams and 3sgte will give you the better power out of the lot, they are going to set you back at least $2000 just for the motor, not including any labour/extra parts to have it put in. And its not really a DIY unless your 100% confident. A normal 3sge would be a bit cheaper and easier to get put in (so to say) but still pretty pricey. A V6 is pretty custom type of swap In my opinion: Exhaust, Intake, Cams - will be your cheaper options Than you can start on suspension and weight reduction Than see what route you want to take with a motor, but in my eyes, if your paying for a new motor and the labour to have it put in, the extra couple of $100 between all the motors, i would be going the 3SGTE. -------------------- |

Have you ever looked at a 3stge in NSW Tim ? I've heard rumors that the RTA/Police doesn't accept the engineering work on them. -------------------- Listen, Like and Share my bands page on facebook !!!
