Hey all I'm new to the site n I Owen a sx-r n i wanna increase the performance of my car anyone have any info on mods that will help me including compatible motors

 If your lucky over there and can get a hand on the 1996 SS-III 3S-GE 3rd gen engine with the S54-06D transmission, you now have a great platform engine and a LSD to build on, as lots of parts are interchangeable with its turbo counterpart, the 3S-GTE. There is a good article in the NA sticky on how to modify this engine aswell. With the addition of a branded bolt on exhaust system (yes they have these for this engine) and a good intake system, you wont have to worry about maf issues with this engine since its map. The next thing to look at imo would be computer. Looking at my dyno runs, mines not struggling to breath at high rpms as I once thought so cams can come later. and as others have said suspension and braking
