Differences in EU & JDM raiser blocks?, My SS-III raiser blocks & JDM seems no go Options

I bought an GT-Four spoiler and SSS-III raiser blocks cheap from local parts site and today we tried to bolt it on my JDM GT-Four. Raiser blocks come about 1,5cm's over the edges of tailgate from both sides and didn't fit well. Is there different raiser blocks for JDM and EU versions because of different shaped tailgates?

Thanks for the details! My spoiler has the wider base, without blocks it fits well, but with those SS-III blocks it goes over edges. Either I have to find those flat euro blocks or just fit the spoiler with those SS-III's. I think it's not so bad if it just lines up with hatch.

I think what you are getting at is the blocks sit past the SIDES of the trunk?
