So there's an ST185 All Trac in my area for not a lot of money. I've wanted one, but I'm unsure of what kind of work goes into bringing one back. http://lubbock.craigslist.org/cto/3891320785.html Here's the ad. Any advice is appreciated.

man in depends, its a non running car no matter how you look at it. So the asking price may be high. But being a true GT4, may offset that. Personally i love the 165 more than the 185.
As with any project car, they could be money pits. lets say you buy it, and you would probably will get it running in 3 months, and then u find something wrong. too late to contact the seller. i would offer 1500 and see what he does. chance are, the engine is a bust, and swap the 3rd gen engine in it for more power... or a beams engine to the one in it -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
