I know this is probably a noob question but is it feasible do an AWD conversion for the 5sfe engine? if it is, what would I need?

Thanks for the input guys. aside from the awd tranny, any advice on beefin up the 5sfe? is there a peak hp you can get out of it? I've never done a swap before, this is kinda my first real project. Not sure which route I wanna take, just want it faster than what it is tongue.gif

The general consensus is if you want extra power go for an engine swap; 3SGTE / V6 (like 1MZ-FE) / BEAMS 3SGE red top. The latter being awesome but quite expensive for the power you will make. The most tunable for more power will probably be the 3rd gen 3sgte with the V6 being the 'in thing' at the moment for guys in the states looking for a cheaper swap.

Obviously there are exceptions for all of that depending on your skills and the amount of money you have though.

If you want to stick with the 5S for a while focus on handling rather than power. You can do intake and exhaust and stuff too if you want, but they are really just for sound, not performance.
