hello,
i have a 95 celica GT FOUR and yesterday i found an old intake i had lying around. the intake fitted directly onto my stock intake hose. the only problem is that i can not longer connect my blow off valve is it possible to keep the stock BOV and use the intake? Bram |

Yes. You can just leave it disconnected and vent the charged air to the atmosphere. Some people put a little air filter on them too. I think he means can the stock BOV fit onto the aftermarket piping Since he said there was no port/flange on the intake to connect it to, he can just leave it disconnected and venting. It will still function normally not being connected to the intake. i put the hose that goes to the intake in the blow off valve and started the engine, when i disconnect it, the car stops running the hose doesn't fit properly so i cant just leave it like that also i think toyota vented the air to a seperate room in the air filter for a reason cause otherwise they would have just connected it straigt to the intake right? or wont it make any difference if i just connect them without the air box? |
