Only the crankshaft and rod bearing and piston rings would cost around $ 360 without shipping to the us.
When the rods are gone add about $145 a rod. Pistons (0.5 OS) $80 a piece. Engine overhaul gasket kit, add another $300, etc etc. From my experience i can tell that when you've opened the engine you think like this: "hmm the engine is open why not replace this at the same time. Wait this is easy to change also now when it's open, etc etc." I did a complete Blacktop rebuild myself (parts are comparable regarding the price) and only for rebuilding parts it costed me somewhere around the $1800 mark. With all the labour (like cleaning the engine, hone the cylinders, etc) i think it'd be somewehere around $2200. So it's somewhat expensive the SS3 parts. By the way the prices are all for OEM parts. If you need anything you can always email me. I get the parts directly from Japan. -------------------- |
